Hey! I'm Clio
I’m a Business Data Science (Big Data) student with hands-on experience and a specialization in Full-Stack Web Development, along with over seven years of professional experience in administrative, operational, and quality management roles. I am currently transitioning into the tech sector, combining my analytical skills with a strong passion for creating digital solutions.
About Me
Hello, my name is Clio. I’m 28 years old and originally from the State of Mexico. I’ve had the opportunity to live in three different states across the country, and for the past six years, I’ve been residing in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
I have a solid background in administrative, operational, and quality management roles. I’m currently transitioning into the tech sector, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Data Science (Big Data), along with a specialization in Full-Stack Web Development and Computer Science.
Although I haven’t yet completed my studies, I’ve already developed and deployed several web projects and applications. I continue to expand my knowledge and strengthen my practical experience in both Data Science and Full-Stack Web Development.
At this stage in my career, my main goal is to apply my skills, strengths, and technical knowledge to real-world projects in Technology, Data Science, or Web Development.
Skills
In today’s increasingly competitive world, we cultivate skills that empower us to pursue greater opportunities with confidence.
HTML
HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is a language used to create and structure web pages. It is the standard language for documents intended to be displayed on the web, thanks to its semantic nature, which allows elements to be defined through tags. These tags indicate how content should be presented, and HTML is often complemented by CSS and JavaScript to achieve a more complete visual and functional experience.
- Skills Developed:
- Structuring content on a web page using tags that define elements such as text, images, videos, links, tables, lists, embedded media, and forms.
- Understanding and applying metadata in website development to improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization) performance.
CSS3
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a language used to design and create visually appealing web pages for users. It is used to describe the presentation of documents written in HTML or XML. Therefore, it’s important to highlight that CSS is one of the core technologies of the World Wide Web, alongside HTML and JavaScript.
- Skills Developed:
- Use and application of various CSS properties to style colors, typography, links, lists, overflow content, images, positioning, and stacking.
- Knowledge of the box model, visibility, measurement units, Grid, Flexbox, CSS variables, and media queries.
Javascript Backend
JavaScript is a cross-platform, object-oriented programming language used to make web pages interactive. It is a prototype-based language with dynamic typing, and it supports event-driven, functional, and imperative programming styles. JavaScript is widely used in web development, server-side applications, and mobile app development.
- Skills Developed:
- Knowledge and application of the terminal, variables, data types (primitive and structured), functions, methods in primitive types (numbers and strings), array methods, object methods, basic and comparison operators, type coercion, loops, conditionals, and logical operators.
Javascript Frontend
JavaScript is a cross-platform, object-oriented programming language used to bring life, interactivity, and dynamism to websites and web pages.
- Skills Developed:
- Knowledge and application of transitions, animations, advanced functions (constructors, higher-order, factory, recursive), DOM manipulation, and callbacks.
React
React enables the creation of modular and scalable interfaces through reusable components, efficient state management, and optimized rendering with the virtual DOM. Its declarative approach and robust ecosystem make it a key tool for developing modern web applications, especially in SPA environments.
- Skills Developed:
- Application of best practices in React using JSX, modular and external styles, reusable components, destructured props, and efficient state management. Implementation of conditional logic, computed states, and smooth interaction with the virtual DOM. Mastery of immutability principles, modern operators such as spread and optional chaining, and use of functional methods for dynamic rendering.
React
- Skills Developed:
- Forms with controlled and uncontrolled inputs; the useEffect hook; data fetching; event listeners; ES Modules; API calls; loading state handling and error management; hooks such as useMemo and useCallback; BEM methodology; and styling with Sass.
- The useRef hook; creation of custom hooks; functional components; use of the children prop; implementation of modals; and error handling.
- The useReducer hook; Context API with Provider and Consumer; the useContext hook; React Router; route protection through authentication; global state management with Zustand; and use of Local Storage.
